CHALLENGER

Description
Template
The Challenger ride was inspired by the Space Shuttle, and completely designed by Technical Park's designers and engineers.
Challenger's movements simulate the real take-off effect of the Space Shuttle. Once the passengers are safely on board of the vehicles the main arm slowly lifts itself up to a height of 1 meter in order to permit the safe rotation of the two arms carrying the two vehicles.
Whereas the vehicles are starting to rotate the main arm reaches it's highest level of 13 meters above the ground making an 45° angle.
While the vehicles are circling they start to turn around their own axis contributing to loss of the passengers orientation. The combination of these three different movements make the passengers feeling weightless as if they are really in a Space Shuttle. The rides vehicles reach a maximum speed of 8 rounds per minute while the arms arrive at 12 rounds per minute.
Maximum safety is guaranteed because of the three different safety devices, an overshoulder restraint yoke, a lap bar and the external cage enclosing each seat.
Stargate is the newest release of this model with even more spectacular vehicles. The main difference exists in the position of the passengers facing the public whereas the Challenger's passengers face the middle of the ride. Furthermore Stargate offers place to 32 persons against the Challenger's 28 seats. As always the client together with Technical Park's designers can adapt the ride according to his own needs.
